• Archive Panic: As noted in the intro on the main page, Swampflix's daily publication schedule means that newcomers to the site who want to start from the beginning have a lot of reading ahead of them.
• Bizarro Episode: Boomer did not participate in the Movie of the Month Swampchat discussion for July 2019 (Ginger & Cinnamon), making it the first Movie of the Month discussion to feature only three contributors instead of four since 2015 (see Early-Installment Weirdness on the main page). This trend continued briefly as C.C. opted out of the Swampchat discussions from that point forward, leaving only Boomer, Brandon, and Britnee as participants in August 2019 (Smithereens) and October 2019 (Who Can Kill a Child?), with newest contributor Hanna Räsänen joining (presumably as a test run) for the September 2019 discussion of Blood & Donuts. Hanna joined the Swampchat roundtable as a regular contributor as of November 2019 (Rare Exports) and the Movie of the Month crew has consistently been her, Brandon, Britnee, and Boomer ever since.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Boomer's Black Widow review, published July 12, 2021, contains a link to this Tweet from May 17 of that same year, which jokes about a dystopian future (2129) Louisiana in which the state's infamous, elderly former governor, Edwin Edwards, is referenced as somehow still alive and ruling the northern gulf area. News that Edwards had died at age 93 was released later that same day.
