YMMV / Supernatural S 15 E 10 The Heroes Journey

• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Dean's Dream Sequence when under laughing gas, which is in black and white and has him and Garth tapdancing to "Let's Misbehave". It has no foreshadowing and no impact on the rest of the episode.
• Broken Base: Fans debate whether the Plot Armor idea was a good one. One side feels that given the meta humour of the show and Chuck's role as the Meta Guy, it makes perfect sense for them to make Plot Armor a real thing In-Universe. Others however feel that it devalues all of Sam's and Dean's prior accomplishments if they only succeeded because God wanted them to win. A third group thinks the idea was a good one and in some areas worked well, but also feel it ignores certain facts about the characters (Dean has previously been shown to be a good mechanic who maintains the Impala, so while it is old it wouldn't break down like it did) and got far too comedic by the end, making it seem like they're getting constant bad luck instead of being normal like Garth claims they are.
