• Hilarious in Hindsight: Black King was considered as one of the monsters to appear in this film, but was dropped due to "King Black King" being a name firmly rooted in the Department of Redundancy Department. Years later, Ultraman Orb would run into the exact same naming issue for the King Demon Beasts, only this time the "King" prefix was replaced with "Maga-" instead of limiting the scope to monsters that didn't have the word "King" in their names.
• Unexpected Character: The components of Giga Khimaira include stronger versions of popular, recognisable foes like Pandon, Alien Hipporit, Silvergon and Goldras...and Gesura, one of the more obscure and less popular monsters from the original Ultraman.
