YMMV / Super 3D Noah's Ark

  • Common Knowledge: Often described as the only unlicensed SNES game ever released. It was the only one to receive a commercial release in North America, but there were a few others to grace the console: a few hentai games in the SM Choukyoushi Hitomi series, a couple bootleg Pokémon/Digimon games, and the infamous Hong Kong '97.
    • It's fairly common to see the game described as a simple reskin of Wolfenstein 3D, with absolutely nothing changed apart from the textures and sound effects. However, on top of the level layouts being all-new and made by Wisdom Tree, the game also includes some new features that were added to the SNES version of Wolfenstein 3D (which is technically a separate game from the DOS original and not merely an enhanced port).
  • Difficulty Spike: The game gets a lot more difficult in the fourth episode and beyond.
  • Just Here for Godzilla: Given it's one of the very few unlicensed SNES game released during the console's run, that version in particular be considered rather noteworthy among game collectors, bootleg gaming circles, or even just curious gamers.
  • So Okay, It's Average: Not exactly a good game, but certainly not awful, especially for being a bible game. It's safe to say that this game is held in much better regards than, say, Bible Adventures.
  • Surprise Difficulty: Despite it being a children's game, the gameplay can get surprisingly brutal on later levels, as enemies can take off a huge chunk of your health if they surprise you at short distances.
