- Fan-Preferred Couple: Ninako/Andou, and Mayuka/Ren.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: Ninako's favorite band is Ikimonogakari. Ikimonogakari ended up performing the theme song for the movie adaptation of Blue Spring Ride, Io Sakisaka's succeeding work.
- Woolseyism: The English translation by Viz Media has some creative alternatives to some of the translations. For example, in vol. 7, Ninako makes a pun to an otherwise harmless looking chihuahua by saying, "Konnichihuahua!", which combines "konnichiwa" (hello) and "chihuahua." It doesn't translate well literally, but the English translation has a great alternative — the pun is changed into, "Hound do you do!"
