• Crosses the Line Twice: Jack and Victor giving dead Wully his loaf of brown bread by perching it on his lifeless arm.
• Nausea Fuel: Manky Frankie and his flat says all. Grime covered walls, fish and chip papers lying everywhere.
• Nightmare Fuel: Jack and Victor discovering Wully McIntosh sitting dead in his armchair with his finger pointing at them. The creepy look in Wully's eyes says all. Not to mention, what was Wully pointing at when he died?
• Tear Jerker: Wully's fate. Dying on his own and in somewhat undignified circumstances.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Victor's anti-free electricity stance puts him at odds with the fellow Craiglang residents when he calls them out for stealing electricity. His friendship with Jack becomes strained because of it.
