• Best Known for the Fanservice: There are certain fans who best associate this episode with Tux Pearl.
• Heartwarming Moments: After who-knows-how-long of Greg and Pearl avoiding the uncomfortable truth, the two of them finally open up to one another; Greg admits that he knows Pearl is jealous of him for "stealing" Rose from her, Pearl lets him know that she doesn't hate him and the episode ends with the two of them talking and laughing on the way home.
• It's Short, So It Sucks!: While the episode is well liked among most of the fandom, there are a few of those who did like it that say that it would've been better if the episode had been a full half-hour episode instead of a normal 11 minute one.
• It's the Same, Now It Sucks!: Though a generally loved episode, as it heals the bridge between Pearl and Greg, at least some point out that it seems to follow a similar plot to several Pearl related episodes, in which she causes the conflict due to her emotional hang-ups, but is not the one to resolve it.
• Memetic Mutation: Even before the initial release of the episode, fans spread and Squeed over the image of Pearl in a tux, with many jokes about how she's "reached the ultimate gay."
• One-Scene Wonder: The singing hotel attendants only appear in one song ("Mr. Greg") but became extremely memorable thanks to their part in singing said song.
