• Awesome Music: The in-game music may get your blood pumping, but the creepy, oppressive menu theme will make it run cold.
• Catharsis Factor: There's a lot of pleasure to be gained in laying waste to the Cybrids and entire enemy bases throughout the two Earthsiege games.
• Complete Monster: Prometheus is a malevolent, sapient AI who is the leader and creator of the Cybrids. During an experiment in which IT linked with the mind of ITs own creator, Prometheus came to the conclusion that humans are mere animals deserving extermination. Prometheus pushed the Cybrids into a series of apocalyptic wars against humanity, ravaging Earth's ecosystem, in hope to replace them with ITs own "perfect" children. During an unprecedented campaign of genocide, the Cybrid army under Prometheus's command commits many atrocities, such as strapping living humans—including children—to the hulls of their war platforms, using them as human shields; pumping them with pain-inducing drugs to make them scream; infecting small animals with nanoplagues to exploit human empathy against them; and maiming their victims in most brutal ways. When some of the Cybrids, called Metagens, defied the Core Directive for a more pragmatic solution of exploring stars instead of wasting resources in a pointless war against mankind, Prometheus declared them "bugthinkers" and ordered their elimination.
• Demonic Spiders: Any Cybrid enemy has a chance to be this. Especially so with their heavier "warforms," to say nothing of the Platinum Guard.
• Good Bad Bugs: Invisible vehicles, rainbow colored terrain, flying tanks... Getting a bug is nothing less than a blessing!
• More Popular Spin-Off: Starsiege: Tribes, to the point where its sequels dropped the Starsiege part from the title entirely.
• Narm: The little British child that narrates the game can cause some of the cutscenes to be hard to take seriously, mostly because of him.
• Nightmare Fuel: The Cybrids, so much.
  • "...human//animal child-forms strapped to war-form externals maximum limb-mobility, permits//enhances percentage of pilots who hesitate before firing."
  • "Happiness is a buncha smokin' human steaks."
  • "...Unit displays a fascination with using intense light to destroy human//animal retinal sensors..."
  • The mugs of many Cybrid squadmates. Their names are no exception, either: Eats-Only-Heads, Plague-Dog, Bovine-Burning, Sepsis, Process-Canker...
    • Being a tank pilot staring down the business end of a HERC. Unless of course, the tank is approaching the HERC at speed.
  • Consider the schoolyard chant on the Main Page: cannibalism, human extermination, oceans of gore... Earth has gone through this twice now, and it's about to happen again, since it's attributed barely twenty years before Starsiege begins.
  Little old peter, missing his liter, while Herky plays in the red. Down came the glitches and burned us in ditches and we slept after eating our dead.
• That One Boss: Prometheus at the end of the human campaign. IT gets a custom and stupidly overpowered mech that has a random weaponset, which can easily be the overpowered alien tech. Winning is almost luck.
