Falsely Advertised Accuracy: Despite touting itself as a R-Type/Mass Effect crossover, the elements included from the former aren't all that accurate to the true lore of games. For example, "shippies" (Wetware controlled fighters capable of sexual reproduction via Bydo infection) do not exist in the regular series, let alone being mass produced, with their closest counterpart only ever being mentioned in an IREM magazine exclusive to Japan. Further, the "Boondoggle" are never depicted in R-Type, instead being taken from its sister series "Image Fight" which is often confused for being canon to the former. At best, it should be considered as someone's Fanon of R-Type meets Mass Effect.
