• Hilarious in Hindsight: Hey, so remember when Seven of Nine sarcastically told the Borg Queen that she could elicit a few volunteers with a sales pitch that wasn't "Resistance Is Futile"? Looks like Queen Jurati may have proven her right.
• I Knew It!: Many, many fans expected as early as “Assimilation” that Agnes would wrest control of the collective and become the Queen from the season premiere.
• Special Effect Failure:
  • Just before Tallinn removes her Renee disguise when dying in Picard’s arms, the shot of her face is extremely strange, looking like Renee from the eyes up, but from the nose down is obviously a different actor, likely Orla Brady. It’s jarring since she hadn’t yet removed the disguise in the previous shot, and there was no sense that it was malfunctioning otherwise.
  • Several shots of Jurati as the Borg Queen have her face look poorly composited on top of a CGI model. A lot of fans have speculated if this was due to the showrunners wanting a big twist involving the Queen but not knowing exactly what so they had the effects team prioritize having the face be easily replaceable.
• Unexpected Character: Okay, who would've expected Wesley Crusher to show up and reveal that he's been supervising the Supervisors?
