There is also the fact that there is no way whatsoever that Trip could have delivered this baby naturally short of it bursting out through his chest Alien style. Which might actually explain why their males are going along with this. For them, its rape or death.
• Strawman Has a Point: Trip was portrayed as neurotic and hormonal when he said that the handrail would slice people's hands off if grasped, but that's actually a valid safety concern.
