• Hilarious in Hindsight: When the Hunters arrive to DS9 in their helmets and suits, they look like slightly chubby members of Daft Punk.
• Values Dissonance: Quark's characterization up to this point has been something of a loveable rogue who is not completely without humanity. However, in this episode, it's revealed that he forces his employees into sexual servitude, something a modern, post-#MeToo show would reserve only for villains.
• WTH, Costuming Department?: Even by Trek standards, the uniforms of the Hunters look extremely silly — a bright red jumpsuit with large boots and gloves, a silver sash and belt, and a silver sphere-shaped helmet.
