• Ensemble Dark Horse: The unidentified kids in Fortnite costumes, due to the mystery behind their identities.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Adult Kenny's closing statement: "It was the last Halloween that still felt like Halloween. It was the last time... it was good." The 2019 Halloween episode didn't involve Kenny at all (apart from a brief mention by Cartman during the school assembly). There were no Halloween episodes in 2020 or 2021, as the show was focused on COVID. Then, starting in 2022, the show switched to a February–July release schedule, and so there likely won't be any future Halloween episodes.
• Just Here for Godzilla: Many people watched the episode mainly because Kenny, who had been Out of Focus for a while, is given a prominent role here.
• The Woobie: Kenny gets shunned for being financially poor.
