• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The An American Tail Shout-Out. It comes completely out of nowhere and is ended just as abruptly by Mrs. Garrison showing up.
• Crosses the Line Twice: The end of the episode has Garrison deliver a transphobic line about how the only thing that makes you a woman is that you can have babies. Then Thompson reveals that his wife is infertile due to ovarian cancer, and Garrison tells him, "Well then get an AIDS test, Thompson, 'cause your wife's a dude, faggot!" making Garrison so obviously offensive that it's clear his bigotry is a joke and not the actual lesson of the episode.
