• Anvilicious: This episode isn't subtle about how men having multiple casual sexual partners is a villain while the women he sleeps with are victims, even if his partners are cheating on their significant other.
• Retroactive Recognition: Lex's crazy stalker is none other than Robin Scherbatsky and Agent Maria Hill.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: We're supposed to sympathize with Lex's stalker for having lost her fiancé after having an affair with Lex, but the problem is that she chose to cheat and while one might feel sorry for her for thinking they had a real relationship that doesn't mean Lex is to blame. She then frames him for the murder of a woman he had a one night stand with before trying to kill him, and the characters continue to think that Lex is at fault for what happened.
