- Growing the Beard: For a while, it was just an average comic riffing on a blonde girl's laziness and stupidity. Once Mr. Steven showed up and convinced her to actually try, even for just a minimum wage job, the comic started to pick up.
- Heartwarming Moments: Ellie sincerely thanking Juniper for her help at a singles mixer and saying she was proud of her results in The Unfavorite crying Tears of Joy because nobody's ever said that to her before.
- Ho Yay: Ellie and Quinn. Their extremely sweaty wrestling match (which even led Oxygen Tank Guy to ask "Is this a nightly occurrence?") is the most obvious, but they both think the other is prettier, and Ginger thinks they're dating (though it turns out she was joking).
- Moral Event Horizon: We've seen three characters skip over the line so far.
- Alex, by repeatedly trying to seduce Quinn's friends, forcibly kissing Ellie, and then hanging a nude drawing of her in public in revenge when she rejects him.
- Kat, who is 23, when she tried to take advantage of Pumpkin, who is 15.
- Danny, with setting up hidden surveillance cameras in Ellie's apartment.
