- Adaptation Displacement: Shikihime Garden is not the first game which features the himes. An earlier browser SRPG called Shikihime Zoushi was the first, released by Appirits in November 2011. So far it is Japan-only, though an English release is planned. Zoushi also features himes that are not in Garden.
- Ho Yay:
- Himes in your garden who have unlocked the "Talk" action may sometimes approach other himes with a heart bubble over their head. The reactions vary from hime to hime, ranging from reciprocal to undesired.
- Isuzuhime in particular will approach pretty much everyone with a heart, only for the other himes to have '!!!' as a response. The only exceptions are Ibarakidouji who replies with hearts, and Kurakakemiya who replies with Visible Silence.
