  • Adorkable: Several characters can count, but Georg and Amalia define this trope with their extraordinarily overjoyed solos in celebration of finding love.
  • Alternate Character Interpretation:
    • Kodaly claims that Hammerschmidt's is only closed due to renovations and that he'll be running it when it opens back up. This is most likely just him being his usual Smug Snake self and trying to save face after getting sacked, with Ilona, Arpad, and Sipos expressing doubt. At the same time, it's never explicitly proven to be false, so he may actually be telling the truth, or perhaps some form of the truth that he's exaggerating. Regardless of the statement's validity, his claims that all his former coworkers will wind up working for him are extremely unlikely given the great success that's been going on at Maraczek's recently.
    • While Georg indeed winds up acting like an ass either way, his "first date" with Amalia can be played as him trying to be insulting right away or him giving it somewhat of a shot before he resorts to being obnoxious.
    • At the end, it's implied that Amalia has suspected Georg was "Dear Friend", at the very least wanting that idea to be true. It's never explicitly stated when this comes into her head and how much she believes it, though. But with this idea, you can easily interpret her behavior in the final scene as Amalia trying to bait Georg into coming out as her pen pal.
    • Georg telling Amalia that "Dear Friend" is old, fat, and bald can be played on a few different ways. It could just be him randomly coming up with physical details given he's already wildly improvising throughout, him intentionally describing an unattractive man to make sure that Amalia's standards are low enough for an Insecure Love Interest like him, or it could be combination of both, with the unsavory details starting as an accident, but Georg taking advantage of them to spin it into making sure Amalia would love "Dear Friend" even if he were unattractive. He certainly seems to aim for that question, it's more a matter of when he tries to get there.
  • Awesome Music: Quite a few great songs are featured.
    • "She Loves Me" earns it's place as the title number, being a hilarious and heartfelt solo for Georg where he lets all of his loving emotions out.
    • "Vanilla Ice Cream" takes pretty much everything that's excellent about the song above, and transfers it to Amalia singing.
  • Signature Song: The title number stands out as the most famous and beloved of the songs. It's then closely followed by "Vanilla Ice Cream", helped by it being placed right before Georg's big solo and pretty much being Amalia's version of that song.
