• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Unico's friendship and close bond with Tsubasa while Tsubasa feels guilty for dragging Unico into a world that's completely deserted. Unico remains loyal and desperately wants to save the Earth.
  • Similar to Sanrio Animation's Unico in the Island of Magic, a sequel to The Fantastic Adventures of Unico, Unico shows concern for The Monster made of pollution after The Monster hits his head on a rock. Later, when The Monster almost crushes Unico to death, Unico utters "Poor thing" before injuring his arm to free himself. Unico even convinces The Monster that not all humans are cruel to the Earth, with some actually trying their best to keep Earth clean. Unlike Kuruku, The Monster actually becomes Unico's friend but pleads "To never meet again".
  • Seeing the Earth completely clean after Unico, Tsubasa, Sphinx-san, and The Spirit of Time return from a time when humans were careless with it. After Unico leaves, we see that Tsubasa's dream of becoming a human has finally come true.
• Nightmare Fuel: When time runs out, Unico and his friends all get turned into stone. Thanks to love and friendship, Unico manages to break free by turning into The Mighty Unicorn and rescuing his friends as they return back to the present.
• Tear Jerker: As Unico avoids fighting The Monster due to being angry over humans messing up the Earth. Unico instantly sympathizes with him by saying "Poor Thing" before being forced to damage his arm to escape.
