• Awesome Music: Barry DeVorzon's theme music. Which was basically retained for the revival.
• Engaging Chevrons: The famous Lock-and-Load Montage.
• Inferred Holocaust: The plague carrier's body becomes lost in a body of water at the end of "The Bravo Enigma."
• Narm: The weird Beeping Computers noises that sometimes played alongside the music during tense scenes, most noticeably in "Pressure Cooker."
• One-Scene Wonder: Maynard Hill's creepily cheerful (not to mention racist, misogynist, and abusive) fundamentalist mother from "Dragons and Owls."
• Retroactive Recognition:
  • Loni Anderson's second ever role was as a beauty pageant contestant in "The Steel-Plated Security Blanket" (she also played an art teacher in the later episode "Deadly Tide").
  • One of Carl Weathers's earliest roles was as one of the henchmen in "Criss-Cross."
