  • Awesome Art: This is Irem, so naturally. Some of the backgrounds are quite gorgeous.
  • Awesome Music:
    • The background tunes in the tower, the chili factory and the clock tower are all excellent tracks, as is the boss battle theme.
    • The music for Sunset Freeway, the second level, is pretty awesome as well.
  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The fourth boss is a factory worker riding on a pink mechanical elephant-shaped lift that spews chili sauce while moving along a track you need to frequently change to keep up with. Afterward you end up in the sewers, for some reason.
  • Demonic Spider: Not so much an enemy as an obstacle, the bouncing gears in the final level.
  • Scrappy Mechanic:
    • The spring hair takes some getting used to. Once you get the hang of it, though, it becomes pretty useful.
    • The basketball minigame. To specify, you need to use your hair to fling ten armadillos into a hoop. Not so hard the first time, since you use your mohawk and can just stand in front of the basket, but any other time uses the spring hair, which is nearly impossible to use in this manner. The developer appeared to think so as well, because the spring hair versions of the minigame are entirely skippable. The only one you NEED to complete to beat the level it's on is the mohawk one.
    • The chicken that hatches from the egg will peck at enemies to defeat them. However, enemies also have mercy invincibility (which usually doesn't matter, as everyone dies in one hit, except the chicken peck takes 2-3 hits to defeat enemies). If you try and jump on an enemy while the chicken is pecking it, you'll get damaged instead, which can be frustrating as the chicken's pattern is highly erratic.
  • That One Boss: The rematch against the bat. Throwing parts of the roof just isn't fair.
