YMMV / Rockman & Forte: Mirai Kara no Chousensha

• Contested Sequel: Most people refer to Mirai kara no Chōsensha as Rockman and Forte 2 (often for simplicity), though others will likely deny it as a proper sequel and instead label it as more of a handheld followup or spinoff in the same vein as the five Game Boy games.
  • In general, whether it's better than the first Rockman & Forte due to having far less Fake Difficulty, or worse for having lower production values.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Compass Man, due to looking more like a traditional Robot Master. Komusu Man is also well-liked due to the same reasons, along with generally having a cool design.
• Tear Jerker: The game's ending. Rockman Shadow dies a slow death in Mega Man's arms to sad music (the Data Base theme from the original game, which sounds even more depressing on the Wonderswan's sound hardware). As a result, Mega buries Rockman Shadow's highly damaged, dysfunctional body, removing his helmet and mounting it on the pile of dirt from the digging to make a makeshift gravestone. As Mega and Bass make their exit, Rockman Shadow's soul finally flies to robot heaven. The credits sequence showing the two characters returning to their normal lives and still playing the same music doesn't help much.
