• Harsher in Hindsight: For the first time, we learn that Marian's mother was called Kate. This was fine at the time the episode originally aired, but come Series 3, this name has very negative connotations.
• Narm: Allan and Robin's fight to the death above a boiling pit of tar is somewhat marred by the fact they're fighting with clubs that look like giant chicken legs.
