  • Awesome Music: The whole soundtrack, but especially at the parts when you make progress throughout a level.
  • Heartwarming Moments: Second time you play this, it's heartwarming the boy wears a golden headband once you learn contrary to what it implies, he's not really royalty. So why does he wear it? Because to his father, who lost his son at sea, his boy will always be a prince in his eyes.
    • Likewise for the King, as he reflects how much the boy respects and loves his father.
  • Nightmare Fuel: The scene in Chapter 3 where the shades leech onto you is incredibly creepy.
  • Porting Disaster: The Switch version of the game, despite a long delay and a reduction in visual quality, still suffers from terrible framerate and resolution drops.
