Narm: The gravity of Stan trying to treat his horrific wounds is constantly undercut by his over-the-top screaming and grunting. When he finally makes it back into his car and tries to start it up with his blood-squirting foot, his noises and facial expression come across like he's having a really bad case of constipation.
When Jen shoots Stan while he's about to run her over, the shot is clearly shown going through his head and the headrest behind it, yet when Jen herself sits down in the driver's seat immediately afterwards, the headrest is flawless again.
Despite ostensibly being located in the middle of nowhere, a motorist can be spotted driving past Richard's villa in the scene where he's standing naked at the pool.
Squick: The film's graphic violence as a whole is not for the weak of heart, but the two Self-Surgery scenes can make even hardened Gorn fans feel nauseous. The one with Stan digging around in his foot with nothing but his fingers to find and remove a glass shard goes on for several minutes and is shot in excruciating close-up detail the whole time. Even Jen's much more precise removal of the thick tree branch through her abdomen pales in comparison.
