- Broken Base: Some fans of the original love how Return to Labyrinth builds on the film's foundations, others hate it for not being faithful enough (and because Covers Always Lie)... and many many feign ignorance. It effectively became Canon Discontinuity with the arrival of Labyrinth: Coronation in 2018, which presents a completely different backstory for Jareth and the Labyrinth.
- Les Yay: Moulin was more interested in dancing with Moppet than Toby at Jareth’s ball.
- No Yay: Toby/Moppet becomes a little squickish once it’s revealed that Moppet is an ablation of Toby’s older sister Sarah.
