• Alternative Character Interpretation: Is Ruby really evil, or is she just pretending to be so that she can be safe and happy with Hawk when Vicky takes over?
• Ethnic Scrappy: Some people think LingLing's whole 'unfeeling foreign girl' shtick is a little much.
• Fanfic Fuel: Who are the other kids' parents? And do they live in the fairy tale world, or are they like Rose's mother or Travis's parents?
• Narm Charm: The English dub often falls into this. Combined with the lousy animation, it comes off so dumb that it’s hilarious to riff.
• Nightmare Fuel: One episode features the Evil Queen from "Snow White" teaching a class that has the kids eating cursed apples. Hawk goes first and ends up in an enchanted sleep. Then we have "can only breathe apple juice" and "sinking through the floor" curses. How in the world did that get approved?!
