  • Heartwarming in Hindsight: The Cheagle plot started up not because of Luke's insistence to prove the Cheagles were stealing food, but to reclaim a lost trinket that wasn't revealed until after it was done: a locket. Tear was very livid in that it only had a picture of himself, believing he was egotistic, but then Asch makes a dynamic entry when Jade's soldiers were about to apprehend them. Soon after Tear realizes it isn't a picture of himself; it was a picture of his brother.
  • Moral Event Horizon: Cantabile crosses it when not only does she (nearly) kill Susanne, but starts gloating over it. It's not surprising this ends up being the final straw and she soon enough is killed by Guy afterwards.
  • Narm: The idea that, in the epilogue, Jade is working towards a Steampunk future while Dist has wind power in the works. Considering things, the reverse makes more sense as wind power is much more sustainable in regards to powering things, while steam power has a lot of flaws.
    • The travel times in the Albiore; anyone who's actually been flying knows the time spent going from location to the next is ridiculously long compared to reality.
    • The amount of time that passes in general; it's grossly exaggerated from how it would be in reality (especially when they get the Tartarus and Albiore to speed up travel time).
