• Broken Base: The Blue Midget dance. Either it's the most blatant example of Padding in the entire series, or an awesome combination of visual effects work, choreography, and Danny John-Jules' dancing.
• Padding: A lot of the episode is made up of this, as "Back in the Red" was originally only planned to be the equivalent of a two-parter. It's most notable in the lengthy recap of the previous two episodes' events that Captain Hollister gives early on, and the Blue Midget dance scene that may fall under Rule of Cool for some, but has no actual relevance to the plot.
