  • Alternative Character Interpretation:
    • The Archlight scientists are surprisingly quick to surrender to the authorities when they're discovered. While Chad did convince them that they could achieve their goals through legal and safer means, given Doctor Francesca's non-chalant attitude, it's implied they surrendered less out of remorse and more out of pragmatism, since they know they are unlikely to win a war against Ishtar's government and that folding is the best way to lighten their sentences.
    • Eryn claims that imprisoning Chad is necessary for Count Estuuban's conspiracy, but Lady Marselva disagrees and believes it hurts their cause. Later, Eryn has Marselva's daughters kidnapped and taken for experimentation against her wishes, causing Marselva to believe that he's doing this specifically to undermine her. It's implied that Eryn's real reason for his knee-jerk reaction to Chad is because he wants hostages to use against Marselva when the conspirators inevitably turn on each other.
  • Fridge Brilliance: Eryn's political genius being an Informed Ability makes more sense if one considers that Ellemine and Arcturo are so dependent on their psionic abilities that they are more biased in their judgements when they can't read minds. They want to believe Eryn is a wise and just person, when in reality, he's neither but hid those flaws with his Psi-blocker.
  • Obvious Judas: Prince Eryn being an antagonist was already hinted at due to how he is ineligible for the throne due to his lack of psychic abilities, which establishes a motive for resenting his sister. This is in contrast to Count Estuuban, who is presented as a backstabbing schemer from the start and Lady Marselva Zephyr, who outwardly has no established motive for working for Estuuban.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Niredia is the most underdeveloped planet by far, since the game doesn't show any civilian locations there to show what Draconian culture is like.
