• Esoteric Happy Ending: After concluding that Corrington is dangerous and likely partially culpable for Alexandra's death in the original timeline, Sam saves Alexandra by sending her away from the castle for good. But he doesn't take any further steps to stop Corrington from doing something like this to someone else in the future. And given that Corrington is actually a vampire, and that Victor has stated there are other Bathory cultists out there, it's especially worrying.
• It Was His Sled: The Twist Ending about Sam having leaped into a real vampire, complete with no reflection, is so well-known at this point that it's the first thing people know about the episode.
• Narm: Victor getting struck by lightning is probably one of the more unintentionally funny moments of the series.
• So Bad, It's Good: The episode's premise — a cult performing blood sacrifices in the name of a vampire — is disturbing, and could be genuinely frightening. But the execution is just so over-the-top that it makes the episode downright silly.
