• Broken Aesop: Kevin feels better about still being a virgin after a talk with Sam, but Jackie publicly plants a huge kiss on him and clearly implies to everyone that they did have sex, completely undoing the lesson previously imparted.
• Heartwarming in Hindsight:
  • Teresa asks if Sam and Al are angels, and Sam initially says that they aren't. We'd eventually learn from what Angelita implies in "It's a Wonderful Leap," as well as what we see with Stawpah in "Mirror Image" that leaping is something that real angels are capable of.
  • Al kindly sings a lullaby to Teresa to get her to go to sleep, then begins to reflect on it. Come "Mirror Image" and the sequel series where it's revealed that he is father of four daughters after Sam changes his and Beth's history, it's incredibly heartwarming.
    Al: God, Sam, I never really wanted to have kids, but...
