- Cult Classic: One of the few Valiant comics from the Acclaim era that still has a devoted fanbase, and one of the few of their original Valiant comics to be included in the 2012 reboot.
- Crosses the Line Twice: And crosses it again for good measure. For example the n-word is censored by having it written as "noogie". Cue poor Quantum getting harassed by a bunch of homeless people calling him a dirty noogie.
- Ensemble Dark Horse: Vincent the goat.
- Jerkass Woobie: Quantum and Woody are an egotist and a lazy Jerkass respectively, but their backstory shows just how much shit they went through to end up this way. Add to this their general Butt-Monkey status and you've got some truly pitiable characters.
- Too Good to Last: The original series got Cut Short at 22 issues, leaving the story dead in the middle of a great revival arc.
