• Jerkass Woobie: Jenna in spades. An orphan raised by her truly awful aunt, she's an extreme Shrinking Violet who has trouble with men and resorts to extreme schemes in an attempt to find love. Between her sad backstory, Endearingly Dorky traits and Heather Morris's excellent performance in the role, you might find yourself Rooting for the Empire.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Marci, the newlywed bride who becomes the target of Jenna's machinations in pursuit of her husband Glenn, isn't terribly likable. She completely buys Jenna's claim that Scott sexually assualted her, despite that being way out of character for him, then jumps to the conclusion that Glenn and Chelsea are having an affair, pointing the finger at them before they can explain themselves. She also comes across as a Rich Bitch, describing the smell of Jenna's perfume in her bedroom as "cheap".
