YMMV / Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness

Go To

  • No Problem with Licensed Games: Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness is generally considered to be a good Visual Novel with an interesting story that runs as parallel to the anime. It helps that Gen Urobuchi supervised it.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: A very, very significant part of the Mandatory Happiness VN is that the villain manages to completely dodge the Sibyl System, creating a number of people that aren't even considered Latent Criminals despite being regular humans actively committing crimes. You'd think this would be the main focus, given it utterly destroys the whole Utopia Justifies the Means theme, but it's not given much attention beyond being an excuse as to why problems can't be shot at. The source isn't even fixed at the end, with it amounting to hoping that nobody else figures it out.
