  • Awesome Music:
    • Synthetic Sympathy by Who-ya Extended is another banging electro-rock song is one surefire way to get you pumped up for the movie.
    • red strand by Cö shu Nie is as chaotic as it is emotional, brilliantly displaying the overall chaos Arata feels as he gets closer to the truth.
  • Catharsis Factor: Considering how he nearly got away for all the crimes he had committed in the entire Season 3 including nearly killing Yayoi, it's very satisfying to see Azusawa breaking his composure when the Sibyl System calls him out for his bullshit and deems him truly unworthy to join because he's not criminally asymptomatic. Then, Arata who puts up all his strength to withstand Azusawa's punches paralyzes him with Dominator and has him arrested for good.
  • Continuity Lockout: As the movie takes place immediately after episode 8 of season 3, it is extremely hard to watch this movie without having watched the season first.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: A lot of viewers were extremely dismayed at how the Ministry of Foreign Affairs members, who three are the original members of Division 1, were used in the movie ever since they're hyped back in the Sinners of the System movies and Season 3. To wit; Sugo is Put on a Bus after being injured, Ginoza and Kougami provide back-up for Division 1 when they're having trouble dealing the Pathfinders with the latter, beating the crap out of Kei for attempting to stop him from apprehending Azusawa. This made a lot of viewers wonder that they should be a spin-off to better explain why they're important in the storyline.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Kei being an "Inspector" for Bifrost at the end of Season 3 gives a lot of possibilities with his failing friendship with Arata, his clashes with Azusawa, and that he might turn against the bureau which Kougami himself had sensed when he noticed that Kei is hiding something. However, it turns out that Homura is on the bureau's side all along and Kei's position as the Bifrost "Inspector" is just a plot device to give Homura the momentum to defeat Shirogane and allow the Sibyl System to take over. Despite Ginoza and Kougami being suspicious of Kei at the beginning of the movie, this was never brought up again and Kei never suffers any repercussion for joining Bifrost.
