  • Epic Riff: The synthesized trumpet chorus on "p:Machinery", which became such an instantly-recognizable part of the song that an interpolation of it opened the main body of "Battle Point Unlimited".
  • Parody Displacement: Today, the band is most widely known for Kenji Yamamoto's plagiarism of A Secret Wish in its near-entirety for the Dragon Ball Z insert song "Battle Point Unlimited", to the point where comments on uploads of the album's songs typically focus on Dragon Ball Z first and foremost.
  • Tough Act to Follow: While 1234 is generally considered a decent album in its own right, it forever sits in the shadow of its predecessor A Secret Wish, with most people considering it a noticeably inferior follow-up. The radical change in lineup between records certainly didn't help. Tellingly, Propaganda wouldn't make a third album for 32 years.
