  • Alternate Character Interpretation: Often invoked in his videos, such as the Doctor from episode 47 really being a janitor that decided he’d pretend to be a doctor.
  • Crosses the Line Twice:
    • In the second part of Pokémon Origins, Team Rocket has taken over Pokémon Tower. Some grunts push a would-be visitor down a flight of stairs. Gar follows that up with "Well, he's crippled."
    • This exchange from his video of “Wake Up Snorlax”.
Mayor: My family has enough food to last us for a while.
Geran (impersonating his voice dead-on): We will watch the whole town die… and then take what we want.
  • Epic Fail: "The Kangaskhan Kid", which Gar considered the worst of the bunch and received a whopping 163 sins in total. It was finally surpassed by "Clefairy Tales", clocking in at 224 sins.
    • "Electric Soldier Porygon", which received over seven hundred sins, 685 of them going to the 685 Japanese children who suffered from epileptic seizures during the episode's first and only broadcast in Japan.
    • "A Scare in the Air" deserves a mention, being only the second episode of the second season and scoring a shameful 170 sins. It comes to the point where Geran is practically begging the episode to end.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: A lot of his jokes are often identical to jokes made by Pokemon Bridged.
    • In the video for "Pikachu's Goodbye", Geran notes that Ash's Pikachu doesn't seem to quite understand the wild Pikachu, and how he's easily distinguishable by how he acts, and wonders if it implies that he wasn't raised among other Pikachu. The first episode of the Sword and Shield series confirms that Pikachu was raised by a Kangaskhan, which also got a Minun in the episode for even being mentioned because it reminded Geran of "The Kangaskhan Kid".
