• Paranoia Fuel: A fair bit, but this is one aspect most people pick up on. Go out into the garden and night. Look up at all the stars twinkling so far above. Guess what? Each of those stars is alive. Each of those stars can see you. Each of those stars is watching you. And each of those stars hates you with a passion beyond human comprehension.
• Shrug of God: The setting's fluff is intentionally vague about the exact details of many, many things, from the precise method of killing a particular god to the specifics of exactly how a legendary event transpired. Generally, it provides the Broad Strokes and Common Knowledge, and a few different suggestions for the "true" canon that the DM can pick and choose from.
