• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Hawk being genuinely concerned when Maya suddenly faints after trying on the chloroformed helmet.
  • Wright carrying Maya when she claims that she's still a bit too dizzy to walk.
  • At the end of Turnabout Daredevils, Manley finally admits to Dera how he feels about her, which is exactly what she needed to hear after being spitefully told by the case's culprit that nobody really likes or cares about her.
• The Woobie:
  • The culprit of High School Turnabout, Stuart Dentlee was a model student until a delinquent framed him for vandalizing the school and took a picture to use as blackmail. Not wanting people to know, especially those at a prestigious no-tolerance college he was planning to go to, Stuart did all the kid's homework and helped him cheat on tests, only for the kid to double cross him by gloating that he was going to use the photo to take the heat off of himself. Angry at being used and desperate to get the photo, Stuart planned to scare him into coughing it up, but his emotions got the best of him and he killed the kid instead. When revealed, he breaks down in tears and apologizes to the prosecutor for lying on the stand.
  • The defendant in Turnabout Daredevils, Dera Deval saw her father fall into a pit of flames while practicing for a stunt when she was a child, then years later one of the people she trusted most, planned to kill her for her inheritance and when that didn't work, framed her for bank robbery and murder. When revealed, the villain gloats about his plan and spites her by telling her she's an obnoxious brat who is only liked for her DD persona and is doomed to have a life full of fake friends after her money. Dera unfortunately takes the speech to heart and wonders if he's right. Thankfully, Phoenix snaps her out of it by showing her something that proves that there are people who do care about her.
