"The Mill" stands out for its intense somber sound, improved tuning and mixing, and for containing musical callbacks to "False Disposition".
• Ensemble Dark Horse: The other members of Sanya's gang, which are little more than set pieces in the background of the PAFL videos, get a surprising amount of love and interest from fans. This is to the point that Ferry has a tag dedicated to them on their blog for the curious.
• Fridge Brilliance: Yura claiming that he knew what KT was "from the beginning" is reflected in the lyrics for "Parties Are For Losers", where he identifies her as a "monster" first and a "girl" second, something which on first viewing might have seemed to be just for the sake of the chorus.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • It's very common in the PAFL fandom to refer to Yura as a "rat boy" or a straight-up rat.
  • Screencaps of Yura's "Ah, sorry for spiking your guns" line from "False Disposition" are frequently edited by fans into reaction images, with Yura just saying "Ah, sorry" with his unapologetic expression kept intact. His thousand-yard-stare as he watches KT get taken away from the first two videos is also frequently used as a reaction image.
