YMMV / Paranoia (2011)

  • Awesome Music: Both cuts have great soundtracks in their own right.
    • The "Direct-to-DVD Cut" has a very gritty Neo-Noir sounding track done by Michael "Skitch" Schiciano. "Bad Night" in particular is relaxing yet unnerving.
    • The "Writer's Cut" has some of Skitch's work but throws a few licensed tracks into the mix as well, ranging from the Everly Brothers to even Spandau Ballet.
  • Jerkass Woobie: Mark Bishop, even before it's revealed that he's the killer, is not exactly what one would call "likable". He's short tempered, a heavy procrastinator, and it's clear that his failed writing career wasn't the only reason his wife left him. But then he inadvertently gets roped into this big mystery because a dead man visited his home and goes on to experience the worst night of his life. Eventually, Mark goes through so much shit it's hard not to sympathize with him.
