YMMV / One Movie Later

  • Hilarious in Hindsight: In his video on Beauty and the Beast (2017), Tony mocks a drive-in theater for boycotting the movie while having nearly no influence in the industry. Fast-forward to 2020 where, from March to July, the COVID-19 Pandemic made all movie theaters close except drive-ins.
  • Memetic Mutation: "Saving Mr. Banks is an MCU movie."Explanation
  • Tear Jerker:
    • Tony's anger at how Wonder Park mishandled the sickness of the main character's mother because of how it reminded him of his own mother's death by breast cancer.
    • Tony's monologue at the beginning of the The Lion King (2019) episode about how old fashioned hand-drawn animation is a dying art form. Masters of the art form are getting older, schools no longer teach it, and even shows that look like hand-drawn animation are actually computer-animated.
    • During the monologue for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, he replays the commercial played at the beginning simply because the person in it was generally enthusiastic about Star Wars, something that Tony fails to see from the "Fandom Menace" nowadays. After giving his preconceptions, he plays it one more time, just to drive the point home that the franchise isn't as innocent as it was back then.
  • Unexpected Character: A lot of people were surprised to see Dominic Smith in Jerk's vlog for Thor: Ragnarok.
