• Harsher in Hindsight: The Took a Level in Jerkass applied to Gerda becomes even worse in hindsight when Frozen II reveals how truly loving, kind, and self-sacrificing her animated counterpart Iduna actually was.^* Far from being the cause of an ice-wielding sister she loved being sealed forever in a magic urn, she stopped a war between her people and Arendelle, saved the life of and fell in love with the son of the man who killed her people's leader, and showed nothing but love and acceptance for Elsa's magic since she came from a land and people that embraced such things. Even the journey which cost her her life was undertaken, not to find a way to wish away Elsa's magic but to learn its origin so as to break the spell on her people's land and bring everyone together again.
• Like You Would Really Do It: And they do! Helga is Killed Off for Real by a sympathetic character. She's never revealed to have survived or saved again - she's legitimately dead.
• Narm:
  • The Disney Princesses have a daycare meeting with their babies, complete with a song. The show doesn't even lampshade the Sickeningly Sweet nature of it.
  • Aurora apparently named her son Philip. Doesn't have much imagination with names, does she?
• She Really Can Act: Elizabeth Mitchell gets to play Ingrid in her past before she was evil, alongside her in the present. This episode is usually considered her finest hour.
