YMMV / Once Upon a Mattress

  • Funny Moments: A lot of them, but "The Spanish Panic" is probably the biggest.
  • Genius Bonus: The only place in "The Minstrel, the Jester, and I" where grammatically the three title entities should be in objective case ("and me") is a part the King mimes, so you could believe he actually "said" "me" even if it doesn't rhyme:
"Oh, the vintner makes wine from the grapes that he grows / Twenty barrels were lost last July / Where they went is a secret that nobody [nose] / but [the minstrel, the jester, and me]"
  • Squick: There's something...incredibly creepy about the way the Queen treats her son, at least at the beginning.
