YMMV / Once Bitten

  • Crowning Moment of Awesome: The glorious dance off/tug-of-war between Robin and The Countess over (and with) Mark. Jim Carrey is a damn good dancer.
  • Ear Worm: "Once Bitten" by 3-Speed. Unfortunately, no soundtrack was ever released.
    • Even worse, 3-Speed only recorded songs exclusively for movies, so they have no albums either.
      • Actually, there was a soundtrack. It's currently hard to find, and at last check, its last sell price on Amazon was upwards of $80. For the CD version, not even the original LP.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: The whole "fags in the shower" thing likely would not be seen as funny today.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Jim Carrey's vampire garb late in the film looks exactly like Edward Cullen. Including the hair.
    • Made even more hilarious by the bookstore owner stating "People are basing their opinions on vampires on all those silly vampire movies today!"
    • One of the first things The Countess does is charm the main protagonist away from his Love Interest. As did the real Zatanna tried to do to Clark Kent in Smallville.
