  • Broken Base: Diluvium is either one of their best releases yet, or it's Rafael Trujillo and Sebastian Lanser taking away everything special about them and making them sound like any number of the faceless, disposable Bandcamp prog/tech bands that they influenced.
  • More Popular Spin Off: From Necrophagist, ironic considering they were being called a poor man's clone of Necrophagist until they garnered much more experimentation in their music and ya know, releasing more content than the former.
  • Replacement Scrappy: Rafael Trujillo, though it's not really his fault. Most fans are in agreement that he's a very talented guitarist who is technically perfect for the band, and they don't blame him for taking significant liberties with Tom's leads, as Tom had an incredibly unorthodox and unique style that would have been extremely difficult to replicate even without the fretless guitars thrown into the mix. Rather, he's a victim of circumstances, as he happened to come on right after an extremely contentious departure. As of Diluvium, he has mostly been accepted, though his writing has been somewhat divisive.
  • Signature Song: "Anticosmic Overload"
