- Catharsis Factor: The MC brutally killing Olivia in the Good Ending can be very satisfying, seeing just how much Olivia has put her through by that point.
- Nausea Fuel: The Maggot Soup scene. There is just nothing about it that doesn't make your skin crawl. From the images, to the squelching sounds to the vivid description of the maggots crawling in the MC's mouth.
- Realism-Induced Horror: A lot of players commented on just how creepily accurate to real-life abusers Olivia's speech patterns and behaviors are, down to the frequent Gaslighting and brief Honey Moon-periods where she acts nice to get the MC's guard down.
