YMMV / News at Ten

Go To

  • Fan Nickname: A less than glorious example. After ITV axed the show, the replacement 'ITV Nightly News' came on at 11pm. After this flopped, ITV were forced to bring back News at Ten - make that 10:30, 11:00... 10:15... no wonder it was called "News at When?".
  • Media Scaremongering: A popular criticism of the broadcast in the mid-to-late 2000s, that ITV would often use rather tabloid-like headlines for some quick viewer interest. Probably justified by 2008 though, given the economic downturn that engulfed the world that year, as well as the very real possibility ITV could have gone under.
