• Common Knowledge: Due to how little focus the series is shown by the Walt Disney Company, most people believe that all shorts were created by Laugh-o-grams Studio. Two of the shorts (Little Red Riding Hood & The Four Musicians of Bremen) were completed by Kaycee Studios, before Laugh-o-Grams was established. While they were shown in local theaters under the Laugh-o-Gram Studio name, they were already completed by then. This also applies to Newman's Laugh-o-Grams, the first shorts was completed in his father's garage.
  • Most people believe that Laugh-o-Gram Studios only worked on animation. However, they also worked on live action shorts. Due to all but one of the live action shorts becoming lost has fueled this notion.
  • Also, people think of is that the shorts were a failure. The shorts were a huge hit in the local theaters but it wasn't enough money to keep the company floating. While it is true the company went bankrupt, this had more to do with Pictorial Clubs going bankrupt and Walt being unable to find a nation wide distributor in such little time. Walt also spent way too much money on perfection, something he was famous for when he was in charge of Walt Disney Productions. The only difference between Laugh-o-Gram Studios and Walt Disney Productions is that his brother Roy kept an eye on the finances and could stop Walt from going overboard.
